Second, I hosted a giveaway for a second $20 certificate to my shop in my UBP post and here are the results from random.org:
So congrats to #101, free indeed, who said... Just Say These Words. What will I cross off my wishlist???
"I just showed up for my own life, and I'm standing here taking it in and it sure looks bright."
So congrats to #101, free indeed, who said... Just Say These Words. What will I cross off my wishlist???
However, I'm guessing that if this year's Ultimate Blog Party at 5 Minutes for Mom is anything like last year's, the competition for all of those great prizes will be fierce! So shall I double your chances for you? Yes, I'm already giving away a $20 gift certificate on the Prize Page, but I'm going to give away one here, too.
And here's the "after" shot:
They decorated it themselves (with help from Other Half) as I had been battling some sort of flu bug that left me with pounding headaches. I think they did a fantastic job, don't you?
The wooden Christmas tree was cut out by Other Half and painted and decorated by Mugger. They were his Christmas gifts to the family 2 years ago. The nativity is hand-carved out of soapstone, a souvenir from our (before kids) days as missionaries in Panama.
And finally, I can't let you leave empty-handed. Well, I guess most of you will leave empty handed, but if you'd like to leave a comment (just one, please), I'll pull a name (at 8 am PST on Tuesday) for these, a pair of Ladybug Limited clips (made by me!)
And here they are all hard at work the last time we went-- notice Other Half has his own masterpiece going!
At least they can all enjoy the finished product together-- at least for a brief moment before OH lets Bug kick it all down...
So do you have any photos that highlight the spirit of childhood? Check out 5 Minutes for Mom's contest here and maybe you'll win a Nintendo Wii. I'd love to give OH one, hence all the pix of him!
... never getting the beds made (and being happy about it) because The Kiddos are too busy playing in them!
Miller’s subtitle is “Nonreligious Thoughts on Christian Spirituality” and that subtitle captures exactly what I like so much about the book. He has chapters with titles such as Faith, Redemption, Grace, Belief, and Worship, but with subtitles like Penguin Sex (the Faith chapter) and The Sexy Carrots (the Redemption chapter), this certainly isn’t your typical Christian bookstore find with lots of church talk.
His 2004 follow-up, Searching for God Knows What, is every bit as good and just as highly recommended.
So get thee to the giveaway! And pass it along once you're done reading, if you are so brave.
Since I have only one granddaughter, this site is an easy place to spoil her just a wee bit! Several of the ponyclips I would buys are: Retro Pup, Vintage Duckies, Pink Mums, green/brown and chicks.
